Reflexology

A deeply restorative and relaxing experience that promotes deep relaxation and wellbeing – this is a truly sacred time of one to one care, blending clinical training with thoughtful rituals; hot towels, luxury aromatherapy blends, time to ground yourself and settle into the treatment and come back from deep relaxation in your own time at the end with nibbles of dark chocolate and time to bask in the stillness sacredness of the session.

We begin with a consultation, taking some time to understand your needs fully and explore any relevant medical history and medication you are taking to ensure it is safe to treat. This time is supportive, confidential and never rushed.

The treatment takes place on a cosy, heated treatment table with soft blankets and pillows. A few minutes of stillness and conscious breathing are honoured before the treatment begins, allowing you to fully arrive in the space and feel present and grounded. Your feet are cleansed with hot towels and massaged with nourishing reflexology foot balm.

 

Gentle touch to each foot is applied in a systematic sequence to different points on the feet – these correspond to the systems in the body and it is this technique that reflexologists use to bring balance and restoration to the body. 

Your feet are cleansed with hot flannels at the end of the treatment then wrapped in warm towels whilst you slowly come back to full awareness in your own time, with a tray of water and chocolate nibbles and a chance to bask in the sacredness of the session.

Each session is 70 minutes, with a 10 minute consultation, 45-50 minutes hands on time concluding with 10 minutes to come round in your own time and share findings and aftercare. If possible, try to take the rest of the day as gently as possible. Reflexology affects everyone differently and sometimes you can feel quite tired afterwards.

Reiki

​

Reiki is an ancient healing system rooted in the understanding that the energy of reiki is within us all; a part of every one of us. It involves the laying down of hands either on or just above the body on the chakras or any other area that the practitioner is intuitively called to. Each individual experiences reiki in a unique way; some feel heat, some sense light or colours whilst others feel a deep and profound sense of relaxation and peace.

I offer this treatment as an additional therapy that can be added to a reflexology treatment or an individual soundhealing session, rather than as a standalone treatment. If you would like to incorporate this into either of these treatments, please arrange this on the day of your session.
