about me

ella dewhirst
My work has taken me personally on a beautiful path of learning and healing. I was a woman searching for a slower pace of living. I yearned for meaningful work that I felt connected to and passionate about. Something that I could soulfully align with and truly embody.
I began working life in a corporate role, then retrained as a teacher before navigating motherhood. Work and life were relentlessly busy and despite my efforts to find balance, I slowly started to sense a feeling of burn out. I was storming into my 40s with an insatiable but unsustainable need for constant doing, ignoring my body’s signs that I needed to slow down and living in total disregard for my inner cyclical needs.
My journey to slow down lead me to retrain as a reflexologist, sound healer and sacred space holder over a number of years and doing this work helped me build a greater understanding of the power of rest and connection with my body. I share this journey in more detail in a book I co-authored (‘Wise Women Don’t Whisper: Menopause: The Ultimate Feminine Rising’, available on Amazon).
Ever the shape-shifter, the life-long learner, open and receiving to new ways to work and grow, I am constantly evolving as a person and what I offer with my work, but am firmly rooted in helping women find deep, nourishing rest and establish deeper connections to the natural cycles of life; the seasons, the moon cycles and our own unique and magnificent menstrual cycle. The very medicine I was seeking in my times of challenge is what guides my work now. What started as a small step into the unknown as a newly trained reflexologist has grown into something much deeper - a space for women to slow down, rest and return to themselves.
